Frequently Asked Questions (FYI)

How long will my extensions last?

Depending on which extension system you choose, how fast your hair grows and how well you care for your hair extensions, they can last installed for up to 3 months before needing a removal and a re-installation.

How can I style my hair extensions?

You may style your virgin hair just like you would your own natural hair. If you have straight Remy extensions, you may curl or use an iron to add body.  If you have curly or wavy hair extensions, you may flat iron to provide a straight look.  Once you wash your Remy hair, it will return to its original texture.  Note: Just like with natural hair, heat can damage the cuticle of your hair, which may lead to breakage and shedding.  Please exercise judgment with using an iron and moisturize properly.  Dying your hair is also okay.  Remember that this does alter the hair chemically and may shorten the life of your hair.  Avoid too much exposure to heat and sun to maximize the life of your hair.

How do I get started?

Schedule an appointment or consultation @

During the consultation, we will determine whether hair extensions are right for you. If you are a good candidate, the consultation fee is credited towards your first hair extensions service.  During this consultation, we will guide you through your length, color, volume and pricing options.  In addition, we will guide you through which extension method is best for you! Once you've chosen your options, a deposit is taken (depending on the services you choose), if not the same day application; to reserve your actual hair date.

How do I know if I am a good candidate for this procedure?

If you desire longer, fuller, thicker hair and your current hair condition is not damaged, overly dry, too fine or overprocessed, you are a good candidate.

If you have had any type of head injury or surgery and you have scarrign on your scalp as a result, we may be able to help you hide the scar with this extension system.  If your hair looks thinner, you may want to use hair extensions to restore fullness, volume, length and body.

If you recently cut your hair short and now want longer hair, and you just don't have the patience to grow it our naturally, you are an excellent candidate for hair extensions.

FYI/Important Notes and Details:

The average client needs 8oz (2 bundles) when using 12"-16" extensions, and 12oz (3 bundles ) when using 18" and above, to maintan a natural thickness.

We currently provide several types of hair.  Most of the hair is available in wavy, straight and curly styles.  Indian Remy Virgin Extensions is best for someone who has thin hair.

Brazilian, Euraisan, Filipino Remy Virgin hair-These hair types are often chosen by clients who already have thick hair, as they are themselves are thick in texture.

When you order your premium extensions, we send it with hair care tips detailing how to take care of your hair.

1. Prior to installing your Virgin Remy hair, be sure to wash throughly water and shampoo. Lay it out and allow it to dry.

2. Be Sure to wash your hair with high quality shampoo and conditioner every 1-2 weeks.

3. spray a lightweight moisturizer-avoid mousse and other products that weight your hair down.  Avoid products that contain alchohol, as this can damage your hair as well.

4. If you choose to color your extensions, be mindful and stay away or limit your exposure to sun.  Excessive exposure to the sun could affect the color in the extensions.

5. If you plan on swimming, wear your extensions braided or wrapped in a swimming cap when you go.  ALWAYS moisturize your extensions before swimming and wash with shampoo as soon as possible, especially if chlorine was used.

Helpful Tips:

Here is a list of must-have tips in order to ensure that you get the most out of your hair.

+Light-weight moisturizing spray- apply moisturizer every other day since too much product is not good for the hair.

+Silk scarf or stain pillow

+This provides a smoother surface for your hair, which means less snagging and tangling for your virgin hair.  Also, satin and silk are better than traditional cotton because they prevent your extensions from losing moisture.  Proper moisture means a longer lasting and smoother looking cuticle for your Remy hair.

+Wide-tooth comb- Tangled hair is the fastest way to cause breakgage and shedding in your hair extensions.  Use a wide-toothed comb in order to minimize shedding and to lightly pull apart any tangling that may be present.

+Put it away- Be sure to braid your hair up tightly and nightly (for curly or wavy hair extensions) and cover with a scarf.  If you have straight Remy hair, wrap your hair nightly and secure.  Again, a silk wrapping scarf is recommended.
